NDS Inc PVC S&D 90° Long-Turn Elbow

Add a 90° turn in 3 in. Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe runs with the 3 in. PVC Long-Turn Elbow. Also known as a sweep elbow, it has a longer length than a standard elbow. This allows the water to travel around the bend with less turbulence for a smoother and more consistent flow. The 90° Ell also connects to select drainage products compatible with 3 in. S&D connections such as channel drain outlets, low-profile adapters, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters. This elbow is used to make a change in direction in the pipeline and connect two pipes of the same type and diameter size. The 90° Long-Turn Elbow for 3 in. S&D pipe is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and makes a Hub X Hub solvent-weld connection. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi.

Applications

• Adds a 90° turn from 3 in. Sewer & Drain (S&D) pipe to 3 in. S&D pipe in non-pressurized drainage and sewer piping systems
• Adds a 90° turn from select drainage products such as channel drain outlets, low-profile adapters, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters to 3 in. S&D pipe
• As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC elbow adds a 90° turn to the pipeline as it connects two pipes of the same type and diameter size together; it can also add a 90° turn from drainage product to drain pipe
