APPLICATION

The Pro-PolyTM PETR Series Transition Fitting is for use in Natural and LP (Propane) underground gas applications utilizing Polyethylene (MDPE) gas pipelines. Meets or exceeds ASTM D2513 Category 1 and ASTM F1973 specifications. Used to transition from steel underground piping to MDPE underground piping.

INSTALLATION

Product installation and system testing shall be completed by a qualified installer in accordance with NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1 (National Fuel Gas Code), National Gas & Propane Installation Code B149.1 (Canada), state/local codes and the Pro-Flex Installation/ Training Guide.

Epoxy Coating: 8mm minimum thickness, AGA 49 grey, Cathodic disbondment testing per ASTM G8, Salt Spray testing per ASTM B117, Impact resistance testing per ASTM G14
