Designed to achieve professional grooming results at home, the u•groom Shedding Blade tool has teeth on one side and a smooth edge on the other. This tool is used to reduce shedding by removing loose, dead hair. Use the side with the teeth to remove loose hair from the coat, and use the smooth side after bathing pet to remove excess water from their coat, as well as to remove loose hair on short-haired breeds. Toothed edge removes stubborn undercoat, smooth edge sheds water to reduce drying time.  Perfect for in between-grooming maintenance. Ideal for small to medium dogs and cats.

Instructions:

For best results, remove mats or tangles with a dematting comb before using the shedding blade. Hold the shedding blade handle firmly and use gentle, sweeping strokes to move the blade along pet’s coat from front to back. Do not apply too much pressure. Recommended for dog breeds with undercoats.
